The teaching life.

This is my life.  And I have a teaching life.  My favorite movie of all time is “Matilda”.  Ms. Honey is my hero.  I was for a time an English and Humanities instructor at a private college in my hometown in the Philippines.  When Typhoon Haiyan devastated my country, wreaking immense damage to the city where I grew up, Tacloban, I lived thereafter with a grateful heart for the second chance at life.  I had the desire to help others in their journey so I went into humanitarian work as a coach and educator for a non-government football organization.  For a while, I lived in a foreign country (one of my lifelong dreams) on a professional internship as a teaching assistant in Spain where I taught English and other subjects taught in English like arts and crafts, natural science, music, and social science to primary school children.  At present, I am back to home-base in the Philippines working as an instructor at a university in my hometown.  In my journey, I only want to achieve all the dreams I have for myself while helping others achieve theirs in the process.  I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts degree from the University of the Philippines and finished units in education in another school.  I am a firm believer of lifelong learning.
