Today is your 25th birthday and I know you’re in a state of confusion and doubt. I know you are wondering what better you can do with your life now. Well, you’re 25, not 70, dear, you can still take your time to think things through. You know what you want in your life and that’s what matters, that you have dreams and goals. You will get to check them one at a time, don’t worry. Maintain your positive outlook and everything will fall into place. Believe God has plans for you, and even if sometimes you think that He doesn’t hear your prayers, He does and He will answer them, not according to your will but according to His.
Look around you, you are loved, by your family who thinks fondly of you. Your Mama who is still your first bestfriend, even if you’ve drifted somehow especially when you came into your teens, just talk to her, she won’t judge you. Your Papa who still looks at you as a princess and misses you so much. Your three brothers who will forever be your protectors. Your nephew, Frandon who would also be your sounding board and companion, your niece Eija, with whom you can share with. Your cousins, uncles and aunties who would always be there for you. Your 9 mornings barkada who may not see you often but are hoping for the best for you. Your elementary, high school and college friends who love your being bubbly and sweet. Your colleagues at work who believe in you and your students who admire you. Mikki who will always be there for you. And of course, you are loved by God. You may not see Him but just remember to pray, He’ll answer your prayers. You can conquer the world with your smile, you can talk yourself to success. Believe, you have been endowed with the faculties to achieve all your dreams. I love you.
